MORE CLOUT FOR NAIL STOUT

Nail Brewing Australia’s Clout Stout has just collected another gold at the Royal Adelaide Beer and Cider Awards.

Clout Stout is a specialty beer, brewed once a year to celebrate Nail Brewing being a year older. Clout Stout 2010 was originally brewed to celebrate Nail Brewing’s 10th birthday.

Only 700 numbered bottles have been bottled and boxed. Clout Stout 2016 was bottled in January. It is a unique beer in that changes flavour with age. Most craft beers are best fresh. Clout Stout 2016 is a 11% Russian Imperial Stout.

Russian Imperial Stout was originally brewed with high alcohol so they could be shipped from England to Russia. Clout Stout is a black beer with extremely rich malt flavour and aroma, balanced by assertive hop character.

A luxurious smooth full body provides a mouth coating experience with each sip. It comes in a 750ml bottle that is best shared for special occasions with someone special. The bottled Clout 2016 will be released in August this year.

Some selective beer outlets have it available on tap. It is presently on tap at Clancys Canning Bridge.

Clout Stout has also won 2 golds at the Australian International Beer Awards, which had entries from 40 countries, Champion beer and gold at the Sydney Royal Beer Competition and gold at RABCA two years ago.
