The only problem with having such a great array of breweries in the South West is the isolation.

Such a statement might be weird for a Sandgroper used to the tyranny of distance between the west coast and the rest of the country.

At least there is one opportunity each year to get as many of the region’s best beer makers together in one place and enjoy their wares.

The South West Craft Beer Festival has grown from a rural exercise into an important showcase of a key part of the industry.

Organisers have kept the next event to a seven-hour one-day affair with the date set for February 13th. The venue remains Old Broadwater Farm in Busselton.
