November calls again for WA Beer Week

WA Beer Week The Sip News

Numbers were crunched, dates tested, opinion sought and even a straw poll.

Then organisers of WA Beer Week threw a couple of written suggestions into an aquarium to see which one the octopus preferred.

And after that scientific analysis the WA Brewers Association have opted to keep their nine-day beer extravaganza in November.

It will soon be confirmed that WA Beer Week will stretch between November 17 to 26.

WABA had strongly consider shifting the event and may still do so but for 2017 the dates have been set.

There was a strong push to bring WA Beer Week in line with the Perth Royal Beer Show awards. However, judging for the prizes occurs in July and there wouldn’t be sufficient time to organise other events around that event.

By keeping WA Beer Week in November, WABA can continue to work alongside the Fremantle Beer Fest.
