That has been the trend for beer. Whereas not so long ago beer lovers were restricted to a couple of breweries, now a six-pack can easily be made up from different makers.

Keeping up with all the developments can be tough for even the most ardent aficionado.

So while sitting in a bar in Brooklyn four years ago a couple of Aussie beer fans decided to get involved in telling drinkers about what is on offer, what is going on behind the scenes in the caper and who is making the big moves around the mashtuns.
